Hello everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your families and friends.  I know that I did...I worked very little during the month of December using the time to spend with my kids and visiting family.  It was very nice and left me feeling rested and creative to start out in 2008!

This newsletter will be short, look to next month's newsletter for a new crafty how-to article as well as some new designs to be listed toward the end of this month.  This month, right now, SBFC is having their WINTER CHALLENGE auctions so if you are looking for a nice pre-made winter layout for your snow day pictures or just some unique embellishments to add to your pages, we offer a nice selection of carefully handcrafted layouts and embellishments this week.  (The picture at the bottom of this page is my own addition to the challenge)

In February, I'm headed to my very first scrapbook retreat weekend.  I'm very excited and have been putting together my own layout kits to take with me.  I have only ever been to one other crop when I very first started scrap booking over 3 years ago.  I find them intimidating because everyone else always seems to know more and seems so much more creative than me...also, I use quite an arsenal of tools and supplies to create with and am not sure how to 'give up' a tool and not bring it, even if I'm not sure I'll need it.   So I'll be packing along my sewing machine, new heat embosser, all my eyelets/setters, my sizzix machine and a few die cutters(like my ABC's and such) as well as all the basic necessities.  I'm sure I'll be a sight to see dragging in there but for 3 days of scrapping, I'm just going for it!  The point being, I'm in the mood to make layouts!  I'm organized and the ideas are flowing....it is rare that I make them to sell so keep an eye out for the occasional layout on MY EBAY for the next couple of months!
